The Netherlands’ Phil Bottomley set a new world record at the Para-Archery World Ranking Tournament in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, scoring 632 points in the recurve men’s open division.
Great Britain’s Georgina Hermitage and compatriot Sophie Hahn set new world records in their respective events at the IPC Athletics Grand Prix Final, part of three days of action at the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games in London, Great Britain.
Hermitage smashed her own world record in the women’s 400m T37, crossing the line in 1:02.48, and Hahn clocked 13.00 in the women’s 100m T38.
Great Britain, Slovakia and Belgium each came away with gold medals at the 2015 Boccia European Team and Pairs Championships in Guildford, Great Britain.
Team Italy opened Day One of the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships on a strong note, capturing the handcycling relay.
Cyclists also got a warm-up a week before the Road World Championships with the World Cup in Elzach, Germany, where Australia and Germany collected five medals apiece on the last day.
Great Britain’s para-equestrian riders owned their home event, sweeping all the team and individual titles at the 2015 Hartpury Festival of Dressage in Gloucestershire, Great Britain.
Meanwhile earlier in July, Dutch rider Rixt Van Der Horst scored a perfect 10 to highlight the three star para-equestrian dressage competition in Uberherrn, Germany.
Turkey enjoyed double success at the 2015 International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Goalball European Championships A in Kaunas, Lithuania, with both their men’s and women’s teams winning gold.
The world’s strongest Paralympian, Iran’s Siamand Rahman lifted a world record 295kg to take gold in the men’s over 107kg at the 2015 IPC Powerlifting Asian Open Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Ukraine’s Andrii Doroshenko edged Spain’s Juan Antonio Saavedra Reinaldo by slim margins to capture the R6 (mixed 50m rifle prone SH1) at the IPC Shooting World Cup in Osijek, Croatia.
A day before, Samira Eram came out victorious in an all Iranian showdown to win the P2 (women’s 10m air pistol SH1).

Rwanda defeated Egypt to capture the 2015 ParaVolley Africa Sitting Volleyball Championships and became the first African women’s team to qualify for a Paralympic Games. The results were flipped on the men’s side, as Egypt topped Rwanda in straight sets.
Multi-world and Paralympic champion Brazil’s Daniel Dias added to his collection by capturing seven gold medals at the 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow, Great Britain.

Jongchui Choi helped South Korea steal the show at the 2015 IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport New Taipei City Cup Open, winning two of his country’s four gold medals.
Italian teenager Beatrice Vio won her fifth straight major event in the women’s category B foil at the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) World Cup in Warsaw, Poland.
Argentina’s Gustavo Fernandez and France’s Nicolas Peifer upset the second-seed tandem of France’s Michael Jeremiasz and Great Britain’s Gordon Reid to capture the Wimbledon doubles title.
In the women’s doubles competition, the top seeds and defending champions of Japan’s Yui Kamiji and Great Britain’s Jordanne Whiley continued their reign taking straight sets off the Dutch second seeds Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot.
Later in July, France’s Stephane Houdet and Great Britain’s Jordanne Whiley lifted their first British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships.
