    Worldwide Partner - Atos

    Atos has provided IT solutions to the Paralympic Games since 2002 and is the Worldwide IT partner of the International Paralympic Committee since 2008.

    In 2008 Atos signed an agreement with the IPC to become its Worldwide Paralympic IT Partner. Under the agreement, Atos contribute to the development of the Paralympic Movement through the creation of a system, which is designed to manage the athletes’ data, including results, biographical and classification specific information and as well providing timing and scoring services. The company has provided IT solutions since the 2002 Paralympic Games.

    Atos is currently working towards designing and producing the new IPC website and develop some innovation projects and Proof of Concepts. A virtual assistant was developed for the Paralympic website for PyeongChang 2018 providing athletes, sports and events information and details of the classifications. The IPC and Atos work together and make step changes in technology innovations to turn the Paralympic Games into a fully connected global experience.

    Atos business technologists support the Paralympic Games and over 20 other major Para sport events including events such as the IPC Athletics World Championships and IPC Swimming World Championships.
