Toronto 2015: Day six as it happened

Cycling road
Canada's Daniel Chalifour and Alexandre Cloutier took the gold in the mixed time trial B, whilst Brazil's Lauro Chaman sealed gold in the mixed time trial C1-5. The USA's Brian Sheridan and Jill Walsh climbed onto the first step of the podium in the mixed time trial H1-5 and in the mixed time trial T1-2, respectively.
Brazil's Abner Nascimento sealed gold in the men's -73kg class. Cuba's Gerardo Rodriguez and Venezuela's Mauricio Briceño completed the podium. In the men's -81kg class, Mexico's Eduardo Avila took the gold, whilst Argentina's Jose Effron and Canada's Alex Radoman finished second and third, respectively.
Brazil showed its dominance, claiming the gold in the men's team class 3-4, in the men's team class 6-8 and in the men's team class 9-10. Mexico won the title in the women's team class 4-5.

Argentina’s top seeds Fernandez and Casco edged out Brazil’s Rodrigues and Santos 6-2, 6-2, and claimed the Parapan Am men's doubles gold medal. Canada's Philippe Bedard and Joel Dembe defeated the USA's Steve Baldwin and Jon Rydberg 6-4, 6-2 and claimed the bronze. Gold in the women’s doubles went to Brazil’s Rejane Candida and Natalia Mayara after they beat Colombia’s Angelica Bernal and Angelica Johana Martinez 6-2 2-6 10-8, whilst the bronze was won by the US pairing of Emmy Kaiser and Kaitlyn Verfuerth.
Non-medal events
Football 5
Argentina secured its place in the final with a 2-0 victory against Chile. Uruguay tied Colombia 1-1 and Brazil hammered Mexico 4-0.
Football 7
Brazil thrashed USA 6-0 and Venezuela tied Canada 1-1.
Brazil defeated Colombia 3-0 and the United States beat Canada 3-1 in the men's semi-finals, whilst the United States triumphed over Cuba 3-0 and Brazil won its game in straight sets 3-0 against Canada in the women's semi-finals.
Canada and the USA smashed Argentina and Brazil, respectively, and booked their places in the women's competition final. Mexico defeated Peru and finished fifth, whilst Guatemala beat El Salvador and ended seventh. In the men's competition, Puerto Rico finished seventh with a victory against Venezuela, whilst Colombia beat Mexico and ended fifth.
Canada and the USA secured their place in the final match after defeating Brazil and Colombia, respectively. Argentina beat Chile and finished in fifth place.
