Toronto 2015: Day seven as it happened

World and Paralympic champions Brazil beat Argentina 2-1 to retain the Parapan American Games title. Mexico won bronze medal with 2-1 penalties win over Colombia.
The women's gold medal match saw Brazil beat world champions USA 7-6. Bronze went to Canada after they hammered Guatemala 11-1.
The gold medal in the women's compeition will see world champions USA meet Brazil. USA won a thrilling semi-final against Canada 7-6 during the morning session, whilst Brazil beat Guatemala 10-0. The two defeated semi-finalists will meet for bronze.
The semi-finals of the men's competition saw Brazil defeat Argentina 9-4 and the USA beat Canada 3-2.
Argentina's Jorge Lencina claimed the gold medal in the men's -90kg class, Cuba's Yangaliny Jimenez and Yordani Fernandez sealed gold in the men's +100kg and in the men's -100kg, respectively, whilst Mexico's Lenia Ruvalcaba was crowned Parapan American champion in the women's -70kg.
USA beat Brazil 3-0 in the women's gold medal match, whilst the 2016 Paralympic Games hosts defeated USA 3-0 in the men's final match. Canada claimed the bronze in both events.

In the first semi-final of the day in the men's competition, USA beat Argentina 59-36 and will meet Canada on Saturday's final match. The Parapan Am hosts defeated Brazil 70-54.
The gold medal in the women's competion was won by the USA after its triumphed over Canada 80-72. Brazil beat Argentina 49-19 and secured the bronze medal.
Canada claimed the gold medal after defeating USA 57-54 in the final match, whilst Colombia sealed the bronze with a 50-48 victory over Brazil.
Argentina’s Gustavo Fernandez beat the USA’s Jon Rydberg 6-1, 6-2 in the men’s singles final and sealed his second gold medal at Toronto 2015. Bronze went to Brazil’s Daniel Rodrigues after he defeated Colombia’s Eliecer Oquendo 6-0, 6-1.
Brazil’s Natalia Mayara closed out a 7-6, 6-2 win over Rydberg’s teammate Kaitlyn Verfuerth in the women’s final at the Parapan American Games and won her first single's medal. The USA’s Emmy Kaiser claimed the bronze medal after she beat Chile’s Francisca Mardones 6-1, 6-1.
