2014 World Championships runners-up Ukraine, led by Kostyantyn Symashko, are hoping to reclaim the Paralympic title they won at both Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, in Rio this September.

Ukraine was drawn alongside Great Britain, Ireland and host nation Brazil in Group A, whilst the Netherlands were pitted against Argentina, Iran and the USA in Group B.

World No.3 Brazil, who won bronze at Sydney 2000 and silver at Athens 2004, seek to top the Paralympic podium for the first time on home soil.

The preliminary games will be contested between 8 and 12 September. The two best from each group will advance into the semi-finals, which will be played on 14 September. The final will take place on 16 September.

Football 7-a-side will be contested at the Deodoro Stadium.
