Recipients of 2008 IPC Development Grants
21.02.2008The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 IPC Development Grants.
All the projects were selected from 20 submissions, which were carefully reviewed. Successful projects were selected for their overall contribution to the development of the Paralympic Movement.
The selected projects will be run individually by National Paralympic Committees (NPCs), International Organizations of Sport for the Disabled (IOSDs) and International Federations (IFs) and will be supported by IPC Management Team staff. The funding from IPC is totaling over EURO 33,000.

The IPC is committed to support the growth of the Paralympic Movement through on-going development initiatives conducted by IPC Member Organizations. As such, the IPC provides grants for small scale development projects that contribute to the development of the Paralympic Movement and are in line with the IPC Vision and Mission.
2008 will be the last year the Development Grants will be distributed. Starting from 2009, the IPC’s Development funding opportunities will focus on the IPC’s Organizational Development Initiative (ODI).
