02:14 The US women have managed to break China’s perfection winning gold in sitting volley, dominating the final 3-0. The Chinese had won all three Games since the women’s event was added to the Paralympic programme. Each time, they had beaten the USA.

01:51 Marlou van Rhijn from the Netherlands won gold in the women's 100M-T44 final finishing the race at 13.02. Silver for Germany's Irmgard Bensusan (13.04) and bronze for Trinidad and Tobago's Nyoshia Cain (13.10).

01:27 Germany's Markus Rehm didn't feel the pressure of being the ultimate favorite in the men's long jump-T44 final. Rehm signed a new Paralympics record jumping at 8.21m. Silver for Dutch Hertog (7.29m) and bronze for another German, Streng (7.13m).

01:19 Daniel Dias has won another gold medal in Rio conquering the Men's 100m Freestyle - S5 Final. At his 4th gold medal in Rio, Dias finished at 1:10.11. Silver for American Roy Perkins and bronze for British Andrew Mullen.

01:09 The USA have won gold in men's wheelchair basketball beating Spain in the final by 68-52. Great Britain clinched bronze beating Turkey 82-76.

01:02 Italy's Martina Caironi confirmed her London 2012 title winning gold in the women's 100M-T42 final. Martina clocked in at 14.97. Silver for Germany's Vanessa Low and bronze for another Italian, Monica Graziana Contrafatto.

00:56 Leo Pekka Tahti won gold for Finland in the Men's 100m - T54 Final. It is the fourth consecutive Paralympics gold medal in the distance for Tahti who finished first in Athents, Beijing and London before confirming his dominance in Rio.

23:58 A shocking surprise for the home fans at the Olympic Stadium. Great favorite Daniel Silva - who was bidding to break his own world record - was beaten in the final by Spain's Gerard Descarrega Puigdevall who won gold with 50.22.

23:20 With an amazing comeback in the last 100m Petrucio Ferreira Dos Santos won silver for Brasil (48.87) in the men's 400M-T47. Gold medal for Cuba's Ernesto Blanco (48.79). Bronze for Matzinger (AUT).

23:15 After two silver medals and one bronze in London 2012 and another bronze medal here in Rio, South Africa's Dyan Neille Buis has finally won his first Paralympics gold medal, winning the men's 400m-T38 final with a new Paralympics record.

23:13 Brasil conquered the bronze medal in sitting volley winning the women's bronze medal match against Ukraine dominating by 3-0.

23:13 We have our Wheelchair Rugby finalists. Australia beat Japan 63-57 and is going to meet USA in the final tomorrow.

23:08 The head-to-head between USA and Ukraine for the third place in the medal table continues both on the track and in the swimming pool. After Long conquered gold for the USA, Maksym Veraksa won gold for UKR in the MEN'S 50M FREESTYLE-S12.

23:05 In the women's discus throw-F38 final it looks like Chinese Mi Na is unbeatable. Mi signed a new world record distance of 37.60m. Shirlene Coelho from Brasil is currently second with 32.55m.

23:05 Tatyana McFadden won her 4th gold medal at these Rio Paralympics. The American conquered the women's 800M-T54 final clocking in at 1:44.73. Silver and bronze went to China with Liu (1:45.02) and Li (1:45.23).

23:05 Jessica Long conquered gold for the USA at the Acquatics Stadium, winning the WOMEN'S 200M IM - SM8 Final. Silver for Great Britain with Stephanie Millward and bronze for Australia's Lakeisha Patterson.

22:38 Lorenzo Perez Escalona from Spain won gold in the MEN'S 100M FREESTYLE - S6 establishing a new Paralympics record with the time of 1:04.70. Silver for Colombia's Crispin Corzo (1:05.37) and bronze to Ukraine's Komarov (1:06.21).

22:35 China won the men's 4x400-T53/54 final with a new world record, clocking in at 3:03.12. Silver for Thailand with 3:05.32 and bronze for Republic of Korea (3:08.77).

21:44 Earlier today Poland has clinched table tennis gold in the Women's Team - Cl 6-10 after beating China in the gold medal match by 2-1. China has won gold in the Women's Team - Cl 4-5, beating 2-0 Serbia in the final.

21:30 Damien Seguin won gold number 8 for France, conquering the 1-Person Keelboat (2.4mR) in sailing. Silver for Australia's Matthew Bugg and bronze for Helena Lucas from Great Britain.

21:21 A fantastic day for Team GB in archery. Great Britain has completed a clean sweep in the women's individual competition. Jessica Stretton won gold, Jo Frith lost in the final to clinch silver and Vicky Jenkins beat Korean Kim to secure bronze.

20:08 As anticipated Australia won its second sailing gold medal of the day, in the 2-Person Keelboat (SKUD18). Canada conquered the silver medal, while Great Britain secured the bronze.

20:04 And we have our first wheelchair rugby's finalist. The USA beat Canada 60-55 and now await the winner of the other semi-final played today at Carioca Arena 1 between Australia and Japan.

19:46 At 18:30 Rio time in athletics Germany’s Markus Rehm, whose jump of 8.40m at last year’s World Championships would have been good enough to win him the last three Olympic titles, goes in the men’s long jump T44.
