The race for the medals hots up in wheelchair tennis on Monday (12 September), with five divisions on show and medal spots up for grabs in two categories.
The semi-finals in the quad singles get underway with Centre Court and Court Two showcasing the top four seeds going head-to-head.
David Wagner of USA will want to make the final as he bids to turn his London 2012 silver into gold, but Great Britain’s Andy Lapthorne is also eyeing the top prize. The pair are the final game on Centre Court in the evening.
The semi-final between Dylan Alcott and Lucas Sithole is set to be just as entertaining, as Alcott goes in search of his two-sport gold medal accolade. Sithole, meanwhile, will be looking to make his Paralympic debut a memorable one with a final spot.
The women’s doubles also gears itself up for semi-final action as the Netherlands look to retain their gold medal once again.
Top seeds Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot will face Great Britain’s talented pair Jordanne Whiley and Lucy Shuker as they look to better 2012’s bronze medal.
Fellow Dutch duo Marjolein Buis and Diede de Groot play fourth seeds from Japan Yui Kamiji and Miho Nijo on Court Three.
The remaining top six seeds in the women’s singles will all be in quarter-final action as the field is narrowed down.
The division’s best action is spread across Centre Court and Courts Two, Eight and Nine as they all fight for semi-final spots.
Throughout day four there is also plenty of tennis in the men’s divisions, both singles and doubles.
Singles begins round three with 15 of the seeded players in action, plus the world’s 60th ranked player Shunjiang Dong of China.
In the doubles, the entertainment and quality intensifies as one French duo take on Argentina, while the other pairing faces the sixth seeded Japan twosome.
