    US ice sledge hockey team in training

    Paralympic and world champions will train Thursday-Saturday (18-20 February) at Extreme Ice Center with US developmental team.

    The 2015-16 US ice sledge hockey team will train this weekend (18-20 February) at Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail, North Carolina. Team USA will be joined by the US development team for the duration of camp.

    Both teams will conduct practices on Thursday (18 February) and Friday (19 February). Additionally, the two teams will face off Friday at 3 pm (ET) and again Saturday (20 February) at 4 pm (ET). All practices and games are open to the public.

    The training camp will be Team USA's first time together since claiming the 2016 World Sled Hockey Challenge in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia in January with a 3-2 overtime victory over host Canada. The camp will also be the development team's final preparation for its three-game series versus Canada in Indian Trail, North Carolina, on 15-20 March.

    Training camp schedule (all times are ET)

    Thursday, 18 February

    Practice: national team (6.15-7.50pm)

    Practice: developmental team (6.30-8.05pm)

    Friday, 19 February

    Practice: national team (9.00-10.20am)

    Practice: development team (9.15-10.35am)

    Scrimmage (3.00-5.50pm)

    Saturday, 20 February

    Practice: national team (9.00-10.20am)

    Practice: developmental team (9.20-10.50am)

    Scrimmage (4.00-5.50pm)
