What happened last time: Great Britain’s Dan Greaves took gold in the event at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships, as USA’s Jeremy Campbell was left to settle for silver and Iran’s Farzad Sepahvand claimed the bronze.

World-record holder: Campbell set the current world-best mark with a throw of 63.46m at the 2012 Endeavour Games in Edmond, Oklahoma.
