IPC Alpine Skiing has announced that the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in Panorama, Canada, will be streamed live between 28 February-10 March.

Fans can catch the action at www.Panorama2015.com whilst viewers in the USA can watch via www.teamusa.org/US-Paralympics.

Panorama 2015 is set to feature a host of world and Paralympic champions competing in the biggest gathering of skiers since Sochi 2014.

Craig Spence, IPC Director of Media and Communications said: “It is just under a year since the most successful Paralympic Winter Games in history, and it is great that we are able to offer a livestream of all competition days from Panorama 2015.

“In addition we will have full coverage, including live results, across all platforms. IPC Alpine Skiing’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and Paralympics Instagram will be constantly updated and news and interviews posted at Panorama2015.com.

“The aim is to give fans and the media access all areas, behind-the-scenes coverage of what we expect to be a really great event.”

At the 2013 World Championships in La Molina, Spain, France’s Marie Bochet was the star of the show, leaving with a full-house of medals from all five women’s standing events.

Bochet has been back on the top of the podium this season, winning World and Europa Cups events, but has been troubled by Germany’s slalom Paralympic champion Andrea Rothfuss who prevented Bochet from another clean sweep at Sochi 2014.

Russia’s double Paralympic champion Valerii Redkozubov has dominated the podium in 2014-15, taking the overall crown in the men’s visually impaired.

In the sit-ski field, Germany’s Anna Schaffelhuber is the favourite having won all five women’s races in Sochi. However Austria’s Claudia Loesch is the defending giant slalom, super-G and super-combined champion heading into the World Championships.

Panorama 2015 will feature 130 athletes from nearly 30 countries.

The Opening Ceremony takes place on 28 February, with action starting with downhill training on 2 and 3 March before downhill competition begins on 4 March.

In addition to the livestream, live results will be available on Panorama 2015 website.

Daily previews and reviews will be available at www.panorama2015.com and live updates will be posted to Facebook and Twitter , as well as on Instagram @Paralympics.
