This week’s #MusicMonday comes from Germany’s Vanessa Low, who was in terrific form at the 2015 PC Athletics World Championships, winning long jump T42 gold and 100m T42 silver.

Low smashed the world record in Doha, Qatar, with a phenomenal leap of 4.79m – one of three jumps she made that surpassed the 4.70m mark.

Here’s what the 25-year-old has on her playlist as she prepares to go for gold at this year’s Rio Games.

To relax pre-competition I like quiet tunes:

    1. Budding trees - Nahko & Medicine for the People

In training and while warming up for competitions I like uplifting tunes:

    2. We Own It - 2 Chainz

This was the song I listened to while warming up for my first big competition in 2009. It’s still my favourite and connected to a lot of amazing memories:

    3. Empire State of mind – Jay Z

Sport fans from around the world can now buy their Paralympic tickets for Rio 2016 from authorised ticket resellers (ATRs).

The IPC’s Global ATR is Jet Set Sports, and Rio 2016 tickets and packages can be purchased on the CoSport website.
