South Korea reveal 27 names on Sochi 2014 Paralympic team

The country will have a strong representation in the team sports, as they are set to take part in both wheelchair curling and ice sledge hockey.

South Korea have announced the team that will represent the country at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, which includes 27 athletes across alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ice sledge hockey and wheelchair curling.

The majority of the delegation will be made up of ice sledge hockey and wheelchair curling athletes, including One to Watch sledge hockey forward Seung-Hwan Jung.

As the host country of the next Paralympic Winter Games in PyeongChang in 2018, South Korea are eager to outdo their Vancouver 2010 performance, where they finished in 18th place in the medals table after winning a single silver medal in wheelchair curling.
