Upcoming Live Action from Ice Sledge Hockey Euro Champs

On Wednesday and Thursday (16-17 February) three games from the 2011 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Ice Sledge Hockey European Championships will be streamed live over the internet from Solleftea, Sweden.

At 17.00 CET on Wednesday in Group B the unbeaten Czech Republic side will face Russia who will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Sweden on Monday evening.

This match will be followed at 20.30 CET by another unbeaten team in Group B, Italy. The Italians were Overtime winners in their last match against Sweden and will be looking for a stronger performance against Poland who has yet to win a game in this tournament.

Thursday’s live action will kick off at 17.00 CET in a game that, depending on Wednesday’s results, may decide the winners of Group B with Czech Republic facing Italy.

The Czech Republic was runners up in the last European Championships whilst the Italian team is many people’s tip for a medal this time round.

More than 130 players from 10 different countries are competing in the 2011 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey European Championships, held in Solleftea, Sweden.
