    Switzerland

    Switzerland has won 153 medals at the Paralympic Winter Games: Gold 50 - Silver 55 - Bronze 48.

    Switzerland won its most medals at the Innsbruck 1984 Paralympic Winter Games where it won 37 medals, including five gold.

    In terms of gold medals, Switzerland had its best Paralympic Winter Games in 1976 and in 1998, winning 10 gold medals in each year.

    Rolf Heinzmann and Hans Burn each won a record 14 medals for Switzerland with Heinzmann claiming 12 gold medals.

    Heinzmann won four gold medals in Nagano, winning the alpine skiing men's slalom, giant slalom, Super-G and downhill, all in LW6-8.

    Heinzmann also won gold medals in 1980, 1984 and 2002 and added silver in 1994 and 2002.

    Elisabeth Osterwalder and Irene Moillen have won the most gold medals in women's events, three gold medals each.

    Switzerland has won its medals in alpine skiing (105), cross-country skiing (37) and biathlon (11).

    Christoph Kunz won Switzerland's only gold medal at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games when he won alpine skiing men's giant slalom sitting.

    This was Kunz's third medal after winning the downhill sitting and finishing second in the giant slalom sitting at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.
