Through a policy of rotation, there are vacant positions on the following World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Working Committees: Athlete Committee, Education Committee, Finance and Administration Committee, as well as Health, Medical and Research Committee.
WADA Committees act as advisory committees and provide guidance for WADA’s programmes. Further details on the WADA Working Committees can be retrieved from www.wada-ama.org.
The International Paralympic Committee has been invited to explore within its membership worthy candidates for consideration to these positions. Submissions should include an accompanying letter as well as an appropriate curriculum vitae providing full information relating to the individual’s experience and expertise, and a support letter by the respective National Paralympic Committee.
WADA adopts a policy of equal representation of the stakeholder groups, the regions and the genders of the members. Nominations from candidates to represent the IPC on any of the WADA Working Committees are welcomed by 31 August 2008. After the applications have been processed, the IPC will submit to WADA a comprehensive list of candidates for their consideration.
Applications should be sent to Dr. Peter Van de Vliet, IPC Medical & Scientific Director, firstname.lastname@example.org.
