This month’s IPC Athlete of the Month nominees include:

Heading into the event he was ranked No. 5, but he was able to defeat Paralympic and world champion Holger Nikelis of Germany in the semi-finals of the tournament. He also won gold in the team event.

    • Panfeng Feng (China, table tennis): As one of the dominant players at the ITTF Para-Table Tennis Asian Championships, Feng won gold in both the men’s singles Class 3 event, as well as the team event.

    • Natascha Hiltrop (Germany, shooting): The 23-year-old beat Paralympic champion Cedric Fevre and favourite Matt Skelhon to claim gold in the R3 event (mixed 10m air rifle prone SH1) at the IPC Shooting European Championships in Alicante, Spain.
