As additional ticket inventory becomes available, tickets for different Olympic and Paralympic events and price categories will be available at the main ticket centres and online at tickets.sochi2014.com.

Sports fans who have not yet bought tickets for Sochi 2014 – Russia’s first Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games on home soil - now have another option to obtain their passes to this once in a lifetime event, as the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee has opened its main ticket centres in Sochi and Moscow.

In Moscow, the first buyers were welcomed by Sochi 2014 ambassador and Vancouver 2010 Olympic bronze medallist, Oksana Domnina.

These new centres will allow fans to not only buy tickets over the counter using a Visa card or cash but will also allow those supporters who purchased tickets on the official website – tickets.sochi2014.com – and who elected to collect them in person to drop in and pick them up.

The main ticket centre in Sochi can be found at: 56 Gorkogo St., bld. 1 (situated in the railway station), while the main ticket centre in Moscow is at: 2 Okhotny Ryad St. The centres will be open even days a week and will remain open through the end of the Paralympics on 6 March.

As additional ticket inventory becomes available, tickets for different Olympic and Paralympic events and price categories will be available at the main ticket centres and online at tickets.sochi2014.com.

To collect tickets, customers who selected the "collection" option when purchasing their tickets on the website can visit the centres bringing with them a print out of the order approval, the Visa card used to pay and their passport.

Residents of other countries may buy tickets through their National Paralympic Committee or its authorised ticket reseller. In a number of countries it will also be possible to buy tickets directly from the official Games website. Information on how to buy tickets in each country can be found in the Tickets section of the official website sochi2014.com.

The Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games will take place from 7-16 March, with about 700 athletes from more than 40 countries expected to take part. There will be 72 sets of medals awarded across five sports.
