Mascots from previous Games, including Mandeville from the London 2012 Paralympics have been visiting Rio ahead of Monday’s mascot launch.

Ahead of the first public appearance of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic mascots on Monday (24 November), mascots from previous Games have been visiting the host city.
Meanwhile, Athenà, the Athens 2004 mascot was joined by Moscow 1980 mascot Misha, for a visit of the popular São Cristovão park, in the north side of Rio.
On Saturday morning, the Rio 2016 Friends visited the Maracanã Stadium, the temple of football in Brazil. During their visit, Misha, Athenà, Fu Niu Lele, Mandeville and Wenlock visited the locker rooms, interacted with children of the Olympic project and posed for pictures in front of the Maracanã main entrance.
