Brian McKeever is targeting an eleventh Paralympic gold in cross-country

On Monday (12 March), the third day of competition at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, there are gold medal events in cross-country and snowboard.
Canada's Para Nordic legend Brian McKeever wins his 11th Paralympic gold. The Canadian, guided by Graham Nishikawa, finished first in the men's 20km vision impaired - more than 1 minute ahead of Belarus' silver medallist Yuri Holub (guide Dzmitry Budzilovich). France's Thomas Clarion (guide Antoine Bollet) took bronze.
Monday's first gold medal went to Ukraine in the men's 20km free standing. It was Ihor Reptyukh's first ever Paralympic gold. France's Benjamin Daviet finished second and Hakon Olsrud third - Norway's first medal in PyeongChang.
After three silver and two bronze medals it was finally gold time for Belarus. Sviatlana Sakhanenka, guided by Raman Yashchanka, won the women's 15km vision impaired after a bronze in the women's 6km biathlon on Saturday.
Ukraine's Oksana Hyshkova (guide Vitaliy Kazakov) took silver and the bronze went to Neutral Paralympic Athlete Mikhalina Lysova (guide Alexey Ivanov).
Monday's last race, the women's 15km standing was a repeat of Saturday's women's 6km biathlon standing podium. The Neutral Paralympic Athlete had a one-two finish with gold for Ekaterina Rumyantseva and silver for Anna Milenina. Ukraine's Liudmyla Liashenko took bronze.
After a long wait due to a technical problem in the start gates snowboard finally has its first medallists in PyeongChang in the snowboard-cross.
The Netherlands made it a one-two finish in the women's SB-LL2 final with Bibian Mentel-Spee's back-to-back gold and Lisa Bunschoten's silver. Astrid Fina took bronze and gave Spain its first medal in the Games.
It was a USA one-two in the women's SB-LL1 with Brenna Huckaby beating Amy Purdy for the gold. The bronze went to France's Cecile Hernandez.
The men's snowboard cross finals saw Australia and Finland win their first gold medals in the 2018 Games and one more USA gold. Australia's Simon Patmore beat Italy's Manuel Pozzerle in the men's SB-UL final with USA's Mike Minor taking the bronze.
In the men's SB-LL2 Finland's Matti Suur-Hamari took the first place with USA's Keith Gabel in second and Japan's Gurimu Narita. USA's Mike Schultz won the men's SB-LL1 with the Dutch Chris Vos in second and Noah Elliott (USA) in third place.
Slovakia defeated Sweden 8-3 in the opening game of the day. Hosts Korea beat Canada 7-5, Norway defeated NPA 6-2 and China won over Finland 6-4.
Afternoon session results: Germany 7-6 Slovakia, China 8-2 Switzerland, Finland 8-5 USA, Great Britain 6-1 Sweden.
The evening session begins at 19:35.
Favourites USA and Canada are through to the semifinals. In Monday's first match USA took its second consecutive 10-0 victory, this time over Czech Republic. World champions Canada beat Norway 8-0. The final match-up at 19:00 will see Italy take on Sweden.
