Community service

Schneider works as high school secretary at a school for students with and without impairment. The physical education teachers often ask her to participate in the skiing classes to inspire and motivate the young students. Not only does she serve as a role-model for the ambitious young athletes, she also teaches skiing to parents of children that have just recovered from amputation. Ms. Schneider often visits rehabilitation centres to encourage and inspire young patients. Additionally, she is regularly invited to practise with National alpine skiing teams. During her time as an athlete, she always supported fellow athletes from smaller countries by donating additional skiing and sporting equipment.

Community service

Jouko Grip uses his role as a renowned athlete to promote his sport and the Paralympic Movement towards the public and the media. He actively teaches the Paralympic ideals to young children. Additionally, Mr. Grip has been an active member of a local organisation for persons with an impairment to help and improve the work in his community.

Community service

Ms. Renvall works as physical education teacher with students with and without an impairment. Additionally, she has voluntarily trained athletes who have sucessfully participated in Paralympic sports from 1972 - 2005. She has also been responsible for the education of new coaches for sports for persons with an impairment in Norway.
