    When and where did you begin this sport? She began powerlifting in 2005 in Konya, Turkey.
    Why this sport? A friend introduced her to the sport, but she found it too intense at first and gave it up. She returned shortly after and has not stopped since. "My mother said to me, 'Do not be afraid of the weight, you are the fear of the weight'. Now I am not afraid of it. The weight is scared of me."
