As one of the largest sports organizations in the world, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the international umbrella organization of sport for athletes with a disability. Our key focus is on the organization, supervision and co-ordination of the Paralympic Summer and Winter Games and the daily management of Paralympic sports under IPC Governance.
Our team needs the assistance of a full-time
IPC Information Management Co-ordinator (f/m)
at the IPC Headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
If you are an energetic, open-minded individual for whom working in a global sports organization could be challenging and you
- Have a very good understanding of and experience working with databases
- Knowledge of customer relationship management systems
- Knowledge of (electronic) document management systems
- Database structures and queries
- SQL (programming skills are an asset but not a pre-requisite)
- Have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and Word)
- Have fluent English language skills (spoken and written) – other languages being an asset
- Are willing to learn about the IPC organizational structure and procedures in detail
- Are capable of thinking in abstract terms
- Are conscientious, detail-oriented and reliable
- Are able to work independently and proactivelythen we would like you to join our team.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
Management of the IPC Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system:
- Enter details of all contacts relevant to the IPC
- Monitor overall data correctness
- Define and execute complex searches for IPC staff
- Identify and report bugs and issues to the database developers (located in the UK)
- Test new system upgrades
- Hold CRM trainings for IPC staff
Manage the IPC electronic document management system (EDMS):
- Improve the current electronic filing system (Windows server-based)
- Monitor compliance with filing policies and procedures
- Support IPC staff in all issues relating to electronic filing
- Identify a suitable new EDMS product for the organization
- Co-ordinate the implementation process and staff training of a new EDMS (change management)
You will report to the IPC COO.

Internship Opportunities
The IPC is looking for creative, communicative and interculturally competent university students or graduates to support the International Paralympic Committee’s headquarters in Bonn.
Working with the IPC, you should be a spirited and powerful person interested in sport for persons with a disability and possess excellent language skills in English (other languages being an asset), as well as some work or study experience in the area for which you apply.
We are offering a very limited number of internship opportunities in the following areas:
- Paralympic Games Operations
- IPC Sports Administration
- Media & Communication
- Marketing & Broadcasting
- Development & Membership Relations
- Medical & Scientific
- Operational Office (Legal, Finance and Administration)
Interns will support the ongoing operation of the different areas and will work on specific programmes. Specific job descriptions will be developed for the internship.
As we provide quality work experience to interns, we prefer interns to stay with us for a minimum of six months. Please be aware that the applicant must cover all expenses connected to the internship. The IPC does not offer any financial compensation.

Internship Graphic Design (m/f)
at the IPC Headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is looking for a creative and energetic university student or graduate to support the Brand & Creative Services Manager at the IPC’s headquarters in Bonn (start date to be determined).
The main tasks of the internship include:
- Design logos and emblems
- Assist in designing layouts for corporate publications and presentations
- Assist in formatting and editing same corporate publications
- Provide design services for corporate print materials (e.g., flyers, posters, brochures,) and other products (pull-ups, banners, etc.)
Requirements:
- Minimum duration of internship: 4 months at least (6 months preferred)
- Advanced graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
- Knowledge in photography and typography an assets
- Registration as a student in a design school, e.g., in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia technology, digital drawing
You will report to the IPC Brand & Creative Services Manager.
